Graduates are eligible to be nominated to the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame 15 years after his or her graduation. Those who have made significant contributions to their particular fields of endeavor and who are active in their community may be nominated for this award. Faculty and staff members who have made significant contributions to Alter High School, or have been outstanding role models in their profession, are eligible in the special category.

Nominations will be evaluated based on the individual's life achievements and their reflection of the values or excellence, spirit and vision, which we learned to respect at Alter High School.

The Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame will consist of three categories:

• Faith-filled people who model Christian values (religious, personal, family)
• Individuals who have achieved personal excellence (business, professional)
• Individuals who nurture their community through service, stewardship and
  involvement (community, social)

All nominations are due by October 1, 2008. To nominate an individual, please fill out the nomination form.
Distinguished Form

To be eligible for inclusion in the Athletic Hall of Fame, the nominee must be an Alter High School graduate who made significant contributions to the Alter Athletic Program. The nominee must have lettered in at least one sport twice or two sports at least once during his or her athletic career at Alter High School. Individual athletes are eligible 10 years after graduation.

Coaches, trainers, administrators, support personnel and others who have made significant contributions to the Alter Athletic Programs are eligible in the Special Category, and can be nominated 3 years after conclusion of service.

The Hall of Fame can also recognize teams that have made significant contributions to the Athletic Program 10 years after their accomplishment. Although individual team members will not be inducted into the Hall of Fame, all team members will be recognized. No more than two teams will be recognized in any one year.

The Hall will consist of three categories:
o Athletes
o Specials
o Teams
